Smartfile is currently looking for a mid-level Linux systems administrator. This individual will be joining a fast moving Indianapolis based company that is focused on technology. Smartfile focuses on getting the job done, not how many hours you're sitting at your desk.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and solve problems in production and beta environments
• Deploy new servers using datacenter automation tools
• Test updates for servers and applications and then coordinate going live
• Write and update documentation
• Build custom Smartfile storage nodes
• Help provide 24x7 coverage for production systems
• Troubleshoot hardware, network and firewall issues
• Testing redundancy and DR
• Support office network

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years Linux administration
• Experience with LAMP
• Redundancy and Recovery experience
• Scripting from command line
• SNMP with trending and monitoring
• Networked file systems
• Network based installs with PXE and kickstart
• Virtualization with KVM
• Layer 3 networking with HP Switches
• Firewall rules and NAT in pfSense

  Web Developer

What you need for this position:

• Able to work in a small tight-knit group and collaborate effectively with developers and business owners.
• Expertise in User-Interface design, especially web-based UI.
• Strong front-end development skills. Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS layout skills
• Ability to quickly code complex designs in table-less CSS structure maintaining design integrity and with an eye to cross browser/platform issues.
• Experience using AJAX and client/server APIs a plus.

• Maintaining design consistency via the use of style guides, style sheets and enforcement of established standards and best practices.

• Understanding of print production techniques a plus
• Comfortable with working under tight deadlines and release schedules

Responsibilities:

• Comfortable developing interaction flows, paper mock-ups, wireframes and interactive mockups
• Design effectively within established visual and interaction design styles
