We recently updated our website, smartfile.com, with an all new layout and design.  Of course we updated a lot of the information and images but the main update that we’re most excited about is the responsive design.

What is responsive design?  Great question, glad you asked.   Take a second and scale your browser window to a smaller size.   See what’s happening?  The layout changes dynamically based on what size of the browser you’re viewing it on.  This takes a little more work to develop for but it eliminates creating separate sites for different mobile devices and tablets.  Pretty cool, right?

If you would like to learn more about responsive frameworks, check out Bootstrap and Foundation.  Those are the two big players right now and they’ve got great communities that can help everyone out.  It’s definitely the future of web layout and design (for now) and you might want to consider jumping on the train before you get left behind.

Remember to check out our new site!  Let us know what you think, love or hate, we enjoy hearing feedback from our wonderful SmartFile friends.  I’ll be outlining more new features on the site so stay tuned.
