SmartFile for Developers is a fully integrated file management solution for companies and developers who need to quickly integrate web, smartphone and internal applications. This developer portal gives access to the one of a kind interactive API documentation, available SDK downloads, authentication downloads and much more.
It’s built on SmartFile’s own platform, giving businesses the tools they need with no code to develop, manage or support, allowing them offload security and compliance concerns. SmartFile for Developers supports both Basic and OAuth authentication.
Our platform is a combination of Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) methodology and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) functionality to create an open source file management Platform-as-a-service (PaaS). The platform uses a RESTful API to create the most robust and scalable platform of its kind. To give developers a head start, SmartFile has posted multiple APIs on the collaboration site, GitHub.
Developers can sign up for their free account here. The account comes with 100 GB of free file storage, unlimited data transfer and unlimited API requests.
